Case study
Fnac
The answer was right in front of us: a store's best ambassadors are the people who work there.
Context
Fnac is a retail institution. A brand built on expertise, advice, and that in-store know-how that is hard to replicate elsewhere. The challenge was to translate this real, human experience into social content capable of truly competing on TikTok and Instagram, without losing what makes Fnac valuable.
No artificial tone. No forced enthusiasm. Just genuine recommendations from people who know what they’re talking about, in a format that the platform actually rewards.
Challenge
The answer was right in front of us: a store's best ambassadors are the people who work there. We structured the entire approach around EGC (Employee Generated Content), filmed directly in-store, with Fnac's own sales staff as the faces of the content.
Product recommendations, department highlights, new releases, personal favorites; every format was based on a real point of view from a real person. Credibility wasn't a layer we added. It was the foundation.
Solution
We visit every Fnac store in Belgium, because the details matter. Different stores, different cities, different accents, different faces: the goal is to anchor ourselves in the local culture as authentically as possible, rather than producing content that could have been filmed anywhere. Before the cameras roll, studio by socialsky handles everything in advance: scripting, moodboarding, and coaching the Fnac teams so they are truly comfortable on camera.
The result: a diverse and voluminous content library that feels consistent without ever appearing repetitive. An unmistakably Fnac voice, in every corner of the country.
