Case study

90 Folies

A single shoot wasn't going to be enough. You don't understand a place in two hours. You understand it by spending time there, coming back, and noticing the details that never appear on a brief.

Context

90 Folies isn't just a restaurant group, it's an experience.

Behind the name sits two modern Belgian brasseries, Volle Gas and Boomvol, each carrying a strong identity rooted in Belgian culture, warmth and conviviality. The challenge wasn't to produce pretty content, it was to capture something real and deeply human: the rhythm of a kitchen, the energy of a team, the unmistakably Belgian feeling of being there.

In a hospitality space where everything looks the same (too polished, too fast, too forgettable), 90 Folies needed content that made people feel something before they'd even booked a table.

Challenge

One shoot wasn't going to cut it. You don't understand a place in two hours. You understand it by spending time there, coming back, noticing the details that don't show up on a brief. So we structured production around sustained presence rather than a one-off session. Multiple visits. Different times of day. Different facets of the restaurant captured across formats, from UGC and trends to more crafted food content.

The goal was always the same: make people feel the place before they've walked through the door, and make them want to walk through it.

Solution

We filmed the chefs. We filmed the teams. We filmed spontaneous moments that no shot list could have planned. We even brought in Mamie Henriette, a beloved Belgian grandma and TikTok personality, who acted as a memorable face in the campaign. The immersion went as far as an on-site team building session with the Socialsky team.

Every video was edited with the platform in mind, pacing, framing, sound, all tuned to how people actually watch content. The result: a body of work that feels lived-in, because it was.
